Online Infrared Thermometer IRQ Series

IRQ Series

The IRQ Series is a two color infrared thermometer that measures temperature from the ratio of energy at two wavelengths. This gives accurate non-contact readings from 200°C to 3000°C even when dust, smoke or steam partly blocks the view, or emissivity changes, supporting continuous monitoring of demanding targets.

  • Two-color ratio measurement
  • Reads through dust, smoke, steam
  • Non-contact continuous monitoring
  • Up to 300:1 D:S ratio
  • Emissivity-independent reading

Frequently Asked Questions About This Product

A two color infrared thermometer, also called a ratio pyrometer, measures temperature from the ratio of energy at two nearby wavelengths. This keeps readings accurate when the view is partly blocked or emissivity changes, unlike single-colour models.
A two-color sensor reads the ratio of energy at two wavelengths, so it stays accurate when dust, smoke or steam partly blocks the view, the target is small, or emissivity changes by the same factor in both bands.
The IRQ covers 200°C to 3000°C across configurable sub-ranges, depending on the selected wavelength and model.
The IRQ offers D:S ratios of 120:1, 180:1 and 300:1, which support small or distant hot target measurement.
The IRQ offers visual sighting with variable focus optics, plus laser and video sighting options.
The IRQ provides an isolated 4 mA–20 mA analog output and optional RS485 Modbus communication for continuous monitoring.
Users should check target temperature, wavelength, spot size at distance, viewing condition, sighting option, ambient temperature and output requirement.
