Frequently Asked Questions About This Product

A single color portable pyrometer is a handheld non-contact instrument that measures temperature at one wavelength. The IRP 1M/2M reads up to 2000°C with a high 250:1 optical resolution for small or distant targets.
It offers a high D:S ratio up to 250:1 with variable focus optics, so small targets can be measured accurately at a distance.
The IRP 1M/2M offers two sighting options: through-the-lens sighting (look through the eyepiece to see the measured area) or coaxial laser sighting for red-hot or indoor targets.
The 1M variant covers 600°C–2000°C and the 2M variant covers 300°C–1400°C or 300°C–2000°C, depending on the version.
Yes. It stores 1000 readings with calendar and clock parameters, downloadable to a PC via USB.
Focusable optics keep the same D:S ratio across the measuring distance, while standard focus is valid only at the focal distance and needs an optical resolution diagram for other distances.
Users should check target temperature, wavelength (1M or 2M), spot size at distance, sighting and optics option, and emissivity.
