Vortex Flow Meter

TVMF Series

The TVMF Series Vortex Flow Meter is designed for accurate measurement of liquids, gases, and steam in industrial pipelines. The meter operates on the Kármán vortex street principle, where vortices generated by a bluff body in the flow stream are detected and used to calculate flow rate. With integrated pressure and temperature compensation, robust stainless-steel construction, and high-temperature capability up to 350°C, the TVMF series is widely used for steam flow measurement and energy monitoring in industrial plants.

  • Accurate measurement of steam, gas, and liquid flow
  • Reliable performance even at high temperatures
  • Low maintenance due to absence of moving parts
  • Suitable for energy monitoring and steam management
  • Flexible installation options for various pipeline configurations

Frequently Asked Questions About This Product

A vortex flow meter is used to measure flow of liquids, gases, and steam in industrial pipelines using vortex shedding technology.
Because vortex meters provide stable and accurate flow measurement even at high temperatures and pressures, making them ideal for steam systems.
The meter detects vortices generated behind a bluff body placed in the flow stream, and the frequency of these vortices is proportional to the flow rate.
Industries include power plants, chemical processing, petrochemical plants, food processing, and steam distribution systems.
The meter supports 4–20 mA output, pulse output, RS485 Modbus communication, and HART protocol.
