Online Infrared Thermometer IRK 3M

IRK 3M Series

The IRK 3M is a 2.3 micron infrared pyrometer built for shiny and reflective metal surfaces. Its 2.3µm short wavelength gives accurate non-contact readings on low-emissivity targets from 50°C to 600°C, where long-wave models struggle, and supports continuous monitoring with a 140:1 ratio.

  • 2.3µm short wavelength
  • Reads shiny / reflective metal
  • Non-contact continuous monitoring
  • Range factor up to 140:1
  • IP65 stainless steel body

Frequently Asked Questions About This Product

A 2.3 micron infrared pyrometer measures temperature using a 2.3µm wavelength. This short wavelength reduces error on shiny, reflective and low-emissivity metal surfaces, which long-wave pyrometers read less accurately.
The 2.3µm wavelength improves accuracy on reflective and low-temperature metal targets, so the IRK 3M suits aluminium and bright metal that other models struggle to measure.
3ML covers 50°C–400°C and 3MS covers 100°C–600°C, depending on the selected variant.
3ML offers up to 60:1 and 3MS offers up to 140:1 optical resolution.
Yes. It measures reflective metal without contact, which suits continuous monitoring of bright or moving targets.
The IRK 3M provides a 4–20 mA analog output and RS485 Modbus RTU digital communication.
Users should check target temperature, surface emissivity, spot size at distance, mounting condition and output requirement.
