Selection should start with the target gas and the area. After that, users should match the detection range, mounting and output to the plant requirement.
Target Gas: Identify the combustible or toxic gas to be monitored.
Detection Range: Confirm the range needed for that gas (for example 0-100% LEL or a ppm range).
Area Classification: Check whether an explosion-proof rating is required for the location.
Mounting & Interface: Confirm fixed wall mounting and the electrical interface.
Output & Alarm: Select 4-20 mA, RS485 or relay output, with local strobe and buzzer where needed.
Site Condition: Review ambient temperature, humidity, pressure and dust at the point.
