Digital Video Recorder (DVR) Product Overview
Pelco offers a family of DVR solutions that address video security
requirements from the simplest of needs to widely distributed enterprise
applications.
DX4000
is an entry-level digital video recorder designed to deliver optimum
value for the professional security surveillance market. It is ideal for
small, independent installations, with limited expansion requirements.
The high-resolution DX4000 is programmable on all video inputs. It
provides built-in networking functionality; a web browser for live view;
and a remote client for live view, playback, and system administration.
Additional features include built-in PTZ control using Pelco P or Pelco
D protocols, watermarked video, and storage expandable up to 500 GB.
DVR5100
sets a new performance mark for embedded DVRs. With the ability to
record 480 ips 4CIF on 16 channels of continuous video, this
feature-packed DVR is ideal for small- to midsized installations or,
with future software versions, as an end-point DVR for the small office
or branch. As an Endura Enabled ™ device, the DVR5100 utilizes Endura ™
technology such as EnduraStor ™ and the Endura remote client while
offering a future upgrade path to a full Endura system. With EnduraStor,
the DVR5100 eliminates the need to compromise on recording speed or
resolution while capturing critical video detail. Features include hard
disk drive capacities up to 1 TB; built-in networking functionality that
supports five simultaneous remote connections to one server; remote
client access for live view, playback, and system administration;
built-in PTZ control using Coaxitron ® , Pelco D, and Pelco P; email on
alarm; digitally-signed video; and the compatible Endura player for
viewing exported video. With an
embedded operating system on compact flash, and an engineered cooling
system, the DVR5100 is built for performance and reliability.
DX8100
is a high-performance, PC-based DVR that provides a wide range of
quality and capability including exceptional image quality, immense
storage capacity, multi-channel audio recording, ATM/POS support,
flexible search tools, and unique server-to-server connectivity. It is
ideal for a small- to mid-sized networked environment. The DX8100 is a
feature-packed, mid-range to high-end, mainstream DVR capable of
recording up to 32 channels of continuous video. Audio recording is also
available as an option for each channel of video. The DX8100 offers
scheduled recording in multiple video modes (normal, motion, alarm, and
ATM/POS) with adjustable recording rates for each mode up to a total
recording capacity of 480 ips. The DX8100 provides support for ATM/POS
integration, third-party domes, and the Pelco KBD300A keyboard. Each
model offers live and playback viewing as well as extensive search
capabilities, including index, thumbnail, and intelligent pixel
searching. Other feature highlights include NTP time synchronization,
global data retention time limit, video loss detection, on-line help,
multiple language support, remote listening, and screen favorites. The
DX8100 offers unique server-to-server operation and supports PC, Web,
and Pocket PC handheld client connectivity.
DX9200HDDI.
The DX9200HDDI is an external RAID video storage expansion unit that can
be used to store video information from a DX8100 or DX8116 digital video
recorder or an NVR300 network video recorder. Each DX9200HDDI unit can
be configured one of two ways: RAID 5 or RAID 5 + Hot Spare. RAID 5
provides protection in case a drive fails as the missing data can be
reconstructed from the data on the available parity drive. RAID 5 + Hot
Spare adds a level of additional protection as a “hot spare drive” is
configured and added to the RAID array. The DX9200HDDI offers either a
maximum of fourteen 120 GB IDE hard drives or a maximum of fourteen 250
GB IDE hard drives, depending on your storage needs.
Time Lapse Recorders
Pelco TLR3000 Series VCRs are full-featured, versatile time-lapse
recorders designed for security applications. Available models include
96-hour and 168-hour recorders (NTSC format only). All models can record
on standard VHS tape
