Four wire
Transmitter, IT56 converts the temperature and DC variable input signals into a load independent Direct Current / Voltage signal. The input signal is conditioned and linearised in a range card which is available either as fixed module or exchangeable module. The range card has provision for zero and span fine adjustment. Optional exchangeable range card permits range change even at site. The output from lineariser is given to an Amplifier Card which outputs the load independent current/voltage.

When input/output isolation is required, an isolation card is incorporated. Reference Junction compensation is built-in for T/Cs.


IT56 has modular construction with Mother Board which feeds the power supply to various cards and also interconnects the various modules like amplifier card, range card, isolation card, switching unit, ACJC module etc. Models operating on 24V DC mains are provided with inverter and DC isolator. 1. Permits direct connection to T/Cs, RTDs, Resistance Teletransmitters etc.

2. Output signal (0/4..20 mA, 0..10 V Dc) linear to mV/°C (for T/Cs), Ohm/°C (for RTDS).
