EN2000A6 The EN2000A6 is a rotational speed monitoring and protection instrument based on microprocessor technology. It is suitable for on-site installation or guide rail installation even in hazardous environments. It measures both rotational speed and zero speed of a rotating machinery shaft, to monitor rotational speed variation caused by faults and to protect the unit from serious failure. The recorded outputs can be stored as analog signals and RS-485 communication interface is also provided.
- The instrument construction incorporates a cast aluminum case that has a high anti-magneto-electric and anti-impact capability.
- The instrument can be setup to accept signals from various numbers of teeth and will monitor the rotational speed from key or slot inputs through built inn software.
- The instrument has a “black-box” database to recall historical maximum values that provide reliable data for fault analysis.
- The parameter measured is the peak-to-peak value of vibration or the displacement value. The output will be a passive output of 4-20mA.
- The output can be transmitted to DCS or PLC to form a control system that provides protection for the unit or through an RS485 communication interface to form a monitoring network.
- The EN2000A6 has two setup modes: With LCD and setup buttons: setup can be undertaken at the place of work; Without LCD, setup can be accomplished at with the use of an EN2000A7 Hand-held Setup Instrument.
